Pink Lake loop · 12K
Easy social pace. We run together and no one gets dropped. Coffee at the Brewer Park trailhead after if anyone's around.
An online runners and hikers club for Ottawa, free to join. See what’s on this Saturday, ditto a run, show up. No swiping, no DMs, no awkward intros.
Built by Darren Cody, a trail runner in Ottawa who got tired of running alone.

It’s not a feed. It’s not a fitness app. It’s a small, useful piece of digital infrastructure that turns “I’m going alone this Saturday” into “I’m going with people who get it.”
The atomic unit is the event. Saturday 8 AM, Pink Lake, 12K, all paces. Profiles, crews, and chat exist to serve the next run, not the other way around.
You show up because you wanted the run. You leave with a trail mate because you ran together. We don't promise community. We make showing up easy and the rest happens.
No PR-or-die culture. No “smash your goals.” No dating energy. Just runners and hikers who agreed to meet at the trailhead at 8. And no 1:1 DMs to strangers.
Open Ottawa and you see every run and hike happening in the next seven days. Pace, distance, where they meet, who's already going.
One tap. You're on the list. The organizer sees you're coming, you get a calendar invite, and you can chat the crew before the run if you want directions or a ride.
You meet at the trailhead. You run. Someone you'd never have met says “see you Tuesday?” Three Tuesdays later that's your crew.
Sample events from real Ottawa trails. Every Dittoable event lists pace, distance, who’s going.
Easy social pace. We run together and no one gets dropped. Coffee at the Brewer Park trailhead after if anyone's around.
Recurring weekly. New runners welcome. Last week we had three first-timers and nobody felt slow.
Slow hike along the canal pathway. Stop for coffee halfway. Kids and dogs welcome. This one's truly all paces.
Tell us the route, the pace, and the day. We’ll set you up with organizer tools before launch so your first Dittoable Saturday looks like the one you already run.
I moved to Ottawa, found great trails, and ran most of them by myself for two years. Not because I wanted to. The loop from “I should join a run club” to actually showing up to one was three apps, two Instagram DMs, and a Saturday I’d already given up on.
Dittoable is the thing I wished existed. Ottawa first, summer 2026. If you’re in, I’d love to see you at Pink Lake.

We’re building one city sturdy before we open the next. Want us in your city sooner? Tell us in the form. We move toward where the demand actually is.
